Resilient Educators Project Student Teacher Cohort Spring 2026
10-week cohort and 1:1 coaching designed to support and deepen the student teaching experience.
Make the most of your student teaching experience with a learning cohort facilitated by a current music teacher with 12+ years of experience in grades K-12 music education.
Who: Built for aspiring teachers looking to dive deep into the reflection and learning process during their student teaching experience. Participants will develop a community of likeminded new teachers to serve as a support network as they enter their first year of teaching.
What: Weekly cohort meetings based on reflection, group directed learning, and actionable learning based on the student teaching experience.
How: Through journal reflections, reading, collaborative problem solving, and individual coaching.
When/Where: 10 Mondays from January 26 to April 27 at 6:00-7:30 online. Some independent and group reflection at your own pace is expected. 2-3 individual coaching sessions included for each participant, schedule TBD.
Why: This cohort is intended to provide supplemental and community support for new and aspiring teachers to provide the tools, resources, and mindsets needed to be impactful and confident as new educators.
